It’s human nature, I guess, to always want to be
appreciated. I myself like the feeling of being appreciated especially
when even the smallest things you do don’t go unnoticed.
But wouldn’t it be more beautiful if your kindness will be paid forward? And the same goes to that person, and to the next one, and to everyone else… Like a chain effect? Yup. It doesn’t matter who started it, it’s the motive behind our act. That way, we’re living out our mission - to love God more and to make an impact in our world.
Today, I want that kind of desire - the price of being paid forward. Hmmm. So the next time you do something good to a friend or stranger, instead of receiving something in return, take the step of saying, “Thanks, but no thanks. Just do good to someone else. Pay it forward.” That sounds better :P
