almost perfect. i wiped my face with a towel. i had to make sure my eyes are not reddened and puffed. i had to go and eat, 'twas past lunch time. but i ended up walking back to my room. i locked the door and silently sat on my bed. i was quiet for a minute or two thinking of nothing. i could not even hear the noise of construction operation behind my room. i moved an inch, and slowly assumed a fetal position unconsciously. i guess it was the regression part most depressed patients demonstrate. but i'm no psycho!
i closed my eyes just as soon as i felt the tears bursting out of my eyes. hell. i was stupid to think that i could stop it from falling down on my cheeks. still, i managed to keep my eyes closed. i don't want to see anything. just these dark whirling halos. there was a moment of relief. but it did not last for more than half a minute. thinking that i should not be thinking of anything else but those halos made me think of it again. this time, there was no way i could stop the tears. it was even senseless to try to wipe every drop. i could not remember how it stopped. i just realized that there were no halos anymore. i opened my eyes. and darkness covered my room again.
i went out of my room and walked straight to the kitchen. i cannot deny the presence of growling noise in my stomach. just in time for dinner.
almost perfect.
and i almost believed.
